Our Services

One-on-One Peer Mentoring

Walk alongside someone who truly understands. We pair people with mentors who bring relevant lived experience and shape support around real goals, real life, and the pace that feels sustainable.

What Makes It Different

Support that feels understood, not performed

Peer mentoring combines practical guidance with the steady presence of someone who understands challenge, recovery, systems, and rebuilding from lived experience.

Lived Understanding

Mentoring is grounded in genuine empathy, shared insight, and practical understanding rather than distant theory alone.

Goal-Focused Support

We help turn larger hopes into clear steps, weekly actions, and realistic accountability that can be maintained.

Real-World Delivery

Support happens where life actually happens: at home, in the community, in a cafe, in a park, or by telehealth.

Flexible Rhythm

Frequency, structure, and focus can shift with your capacity, priorities, and stage of life rather than following a rigid template.

What a Session Can Include

Practical, relational, and shaped to the day

Sessions are tailored to the goals that matter most right now. Some are reflective and planning-focused. Others are active, community-based, or centred on getting through a difficult season with steadier support.

Common Focus Areas

  • Goal setting and follow-through
  • Confidence and self-advocacy
  • Communication and relationships
  • Emotional regulation and coping

System Support

  • Navigating services and appointments
  • Understanding options and next steps
  • Breaking down forms, plans, and processes
  • Staying organised through change

How Support Is Delivered

Peer mentoring may be outreach-based, home-based, delivered in familiar community locations, or provided through telehealth where that creates the best fit. The structure is designed to feel useful in real life, not confined to one setting.

In Practice

Mentoring that meets real life where it is

Support might happen while sitting in a cafe, walking through a park, debriefing after a hard appointment, or planning next steps from the safety of home.

The environment matters. Many people find it easier to open up, think clearly, and practise skills when the setting feels natural and less clinical.

That is why sessions are designed to feel grounded, relational, and genuinely useful rather than scripted or performative.

Who This Is For

For people needing steady, human-centred support

  • People with a new diagnosis, mental health challenge, psychosocial disability, or trauma history who want practical support alongside everyday life.
  • Young people and adults navigating major life change, disrupted confidence, or uncertainty about what comes next.
  • Anyone who benefits from working with someone who understands systems, setbacks, recovery, and rebuilding from lived experience.
Outcomes You Can Expect
  • More confidence, consistency, and follow-through with goals that matter.
  • Better communication, emotional regulation, and confidence in navigating services.
  • A stronger sense of direction, accountability, and trust in your own capacity over time.

How to Access This Service

Calm Start. Support matched around you

We begin with an initial conversation to understand your goals, circumstances, preferred style of support, and funding pathway.

From there, we match you with the most suitable mentor and shape a flexible support rhythm that can be delivered in-home, in community settings, or via telehealth where appropriate.

Support remains responsive over time, so frequency, focus, and delivery can change as confidence grows or needs shift.
